Broncs win fourth straight title

Lewistown tops State A, Townsend claims State B, Highwood wins State C

BOZEMAN — Make it four for Billings Senior.

The Broncs won a fourth straight State AA Championship in volleyball on Saturday at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse in Bozeman.

Senior clipped Billings West 3-0 for the title.

Billings Senior swept Billings West for the

championship.

The Broncs won 25-18, 25-19, 25-16.

Senior saw 14 kills from Mo Ritter and 10 apiece from both Kylie Edinger and Kylie Kufeld.

West was led by Mikensi Romersa with eight kills.

Lewistown won a

second-straight State A title with a 13-kill effort from Arielle Allen.

The Eagles soared past Miles City 25-22, 20-25,

25-19, 26-24.

LeAn Quinlan had 12 kills for the champs. Brinna Boettger finished with

40 assists.

Miles City's Kalli Durham hit 15 kills and had 14 digs.

Townsend won its

first-ever State B Volleyball title with a four-game win over Manhattan Christian.

The Bulldogs won 25-16, 20-25, 25-20, 25-20.

Townsend saw 17 kills from Becky Moudree and

15 from Siobhan Flynn.

Manhattan Christian's Hanna VanDyk closed out the season with 14 kills and an ace.

The Mountaineers won the State C Volleyball Tournament in one

championship match.

Highwood triumphed

19-25, 25-23, 25-14, 25-14.

Rachel Semansky totaled five aces, 21 kills, five blocks and 17 digs in the win. Echo Thurston was in on 13 kills and six blocks.

Saco's Annie DePuydt led her team in aces with three and assists with 23.
