Great Falls couple wins $10,000 scratch prize

By The Associated Press - 07/01/2008

HELENA (AP) — Montana Lottery officials say a Great Falls couple has claimed a $10,000 prize from the Crazy Crossword scratch game.

Dan and Rachel Rayl bought their winning ticket at Ralph’s Exxon & Convenience Store in Lima.

They were driving through Lima on their way to Utah for the weekend when they bought the ticket. Rachel Rayl says her husband “slammed on the brakes” when he realized how much money they’d won.

The Rayls say they buy scratch tickets occasion- ally. They plan to pay a few bills and have fun with their winnings.
