USAW holds free wrestling camp A free United States Amateur Wrestling (USAW) Regional Wrestling Camp is planned for Monday, May 19 from 4 to 8:30 p.m. in the wrestling room at Butte High School (enter through Gold Street door).
Instruction will be in freestyle and Greco-Roman techniques. The camp is open to wrestlers of all ages and abilities, a press release said.
Athletes are to register for the clinic at the site and must present a USAW card. Participants are to bring their own workout clothing and wrestling whose. Clinic structure will include technique lessons, drilling and live wrestling.
Casey Phelps and Dan Troupe will be lead clinicians. Contact John Stillwagon Jr., 723-2124, for clinic details.
Rosters set for B All-Star game BILLINGS — Southwestern Montana area standouts dot the rosters of both the North and South All-Stars for the 20th annual Class B Big Sky All-Star Football Game to be held on Saturday, June 7 in Billings.
The game is set for a 1 p.m. kickoff at Herb Klindt Field on the campus of Rocky Mountain College.
Among those picked to play for the South are Jordan Tezak, Ryan Martello and Bryce Shows, all of Ennis/Harrison; Derek DeJong and Caleb Sinnema, both of Manhattan/Manhattan Christian; Tim Stover of Three Forks; Paul Monforton of Whitehall; and David Phillips, Trent Thomas and Joe Stefalo, all of Deer Lodge.
