Barack Obama campaign running television ads in Montana
By The Associated Press - 04/26/2008
ELENA (AP) — The campaign of Barack Obama is airing television advertisements in Montana.
One advertisement features a Republican and Democrat touting Obama’s time in the Illinois Legislature, before he became a U.S. Senator from that state.
The other features highlights of his campaign speeches.
The Hillary Rodham Clinton campaign dismissed the commercials in a statement touting “real results,” and Clinton’s achievements.
Both Obama and Clinton have been bolstering their Montana operations in preparation for the June 3 primary — the last day of any primary.
The Obama campaign also announced Friday it was opening a sixth Montana office, this one in Havre.
