Montana Tech will host a free, public screening of the espionage thriller “The Phoenix Agenda,” directed by Tech professor and filmmaker Deric Olsen, at 8 p.m. in the campus auditorium. Posters for the DVD will be given away for free at the door. Audience members will be able to enter a drawing to win prize packages that include a copy of the film on DVD.
HOLOCAUST SPEAKER
Holocaust scholar and Whitman College professor Patrick Henry will visit the Montana Tech campus Monday and Tuesday. Henry wrote “We Only Know Men, The Rescue of Jews in France during the Holocaust.” At 6:30 p.m., Monday, Student Union Building, Big Butte Room, Henry will give a lecture. On Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., Henry will speak to professor Henry Gonshak’s Holocaust class in HPER B 14. At 3:30 p.m., Student Union Building Pintler Room, Henry will be part of a panel discussion on the worldwide resurgence of anti-Semitism in the 21st century. Participating as well will be Gonshak and Barry Ferst, a philosophy professor from Carroll College.
